(The Golden Gate long ago converted to AET.) The article looks at the FasTrak online toll (and penalty) payment application in use by the minority of Bay Area motorists who still haven’t opened a transponder account.

Private Potomac River Toll Bridge Is The Focus Of A Legal Controversy

Hampshire Review reports, a woman has been threatened with a civil lawsuit over her attempt to “wrest control” of the Oldtown Toll Bridge from its current owner. The owner’s attorney reportedly maintains the dispute arose after the woman was denied employment as a bridge toll collector. The span, which links West Virginia and Maryland shores of the Potomac River, is described on its website as “a simple crossing, simply constructed, and simply managed,” and “one of the few private toll bridges left in the country.”
