Tolling And RUC Explored As Solutions to Wyoming's Highway Funding Deficit

“Land Lane” Magazine reports on SF 73, the latest Wyoming legislative proposal to toll 400 miles of I-80 to raise funds for the highway’s improvement and maintenance. (It’s actively opposed by the state trucking industry.) The article also looks at other current approaches to solving the state DOT’s highway funding shortfall, which include bills to raise fuel tax rates (HB 26) and institute a road use charge in place of fuel taxes (HB 37).

Ohio Turnpike Readies The Launch Of Its New, Improved E-ZPass Website

WTOL reports, the Ohio Turnpike Commission begins the process of launching its E-ZPass website upgrade tonight at 5:00 PM. The site and online customer services will be inaccessible until Tuesday, February 16, at 7:00 AM. “Customers will need to change their password upon initial sign-in to access the new account features. The new site is modernized and will include live chat functions, email and text alerts, and other components,” according to the article.
