According to Egis’ news release, “The company’s expertise in CSC operations for the tolling industry include call center management, support operations management, walk-in center, quality control, correspondent management and case management. ‘This is our eighth Award of Excellence from Benchmark Portal,’ said Rosa Rountree, CEO for

MDTA Will Host Customer Appreciation Event on Saturday

The Maryland Transportation Authority announced it will host a customer appreciation event at the Intercounty Connector (ICC)/MD 200 facility in Laurel on Saturday (September 21). According to an MDTA news release, “Those attending will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations from the MDTA Police K-9s, meet McGruff the Crime Dog, take a close look at equipment used in the maintenance of MDTA facilities, sign up for E-ZPass, and participate in various live events. . . . There will also be information about MDTA job recruitment and contracting opportunities.”

Illinois Tollway Event Focuses on Child Passenger Safety

The Illinois Tollway Authority announced that it will join Illinois State Police District 15 in hosting the 12th annual Family Safety Fair on Saturday in Downers Grove. The authority notes, “The fair coincides with Child Passenger Safety Week (September 15-21) and National Seat Check Saturday, part of a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration effort to educate parents and caregivers to ensure their children are secured in the correct car seat for the child’s age, height and weight.”
