Huge Atlanta Interchange Project Is On Schedule For Completion

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution provides an update on Georgia DOT’s reconstruction of the I-285 and Georgia 400 interchange. The $800 million project to connect “two of metro Atlanta’s busiest highways is on track to open by the end of the year.” Improvements include a new diverging-diamond interchange, several new bridges, bike and pedestrian trails, “and design adjustments for future toll lanes along the top end of the Perimeter.”
