Toll Operations Division Director – Directs and manages all Toll Operations Division (TOD) activities and personnel, including business and customer service operations, marketing, operation, and maintenance of toll facilities and finance. The TOD director will also work in partnership with the Chief Information Officer to ensure optimal support of back office, in-lane, and customer service center operations and systems. Oversees toll operations on multiple facilities across the state to ensure interoperability with other systems operated by other tolling authorities. Exercises professional expertise in the operations of tollway projects by developing policies and procedures supporting the Department’s mission. Manages a broad range of professional, technical, and administrative employees, consultants, and vendors engaged in the administration, engineering, inspection, and quality assurance of all TOD systems. Reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Work requires contact with governmental officials, other division managers and private entities. Employees at this level perform work at the highest level of discretion and independent judgment and are responsible for the final outcome.
