Quorum Report, via Houston Chronicle reports, “A key lawmaker [Senator Robert Nichols, Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee] is arguing that an additional $38 billion in transportation funding should be no reason for lawmakers to toss toll roads out as a transportation option next session.” The report quotes Nichols as telling a group of county officials, “What I’m concerned about is losing the tools.
