Kapsch TrafficCom announces that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has awarded it a multiyear contract to design, implement and maintain a replacement toll collection system for all the bridges and tunnels managed by the authority, including the George Washington bridge and the Holland and Lincoln tunnels. The engagement to maintain the new system has an initial six-year term plus options for up to three, two-year extensions.The contract’s total potential value is $147 million.
