Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise to Hold Industry Forum Re: SunPass BOS Procurement

Ocoee, FL,  February 11, 2021 — The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise will conduct a virtual and in-person Industry Forum at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021, to provide an opportunity for interested firms to learn more about the Department’s Commercial Back-Office project.

The Department is preparing to procure an account management and financial accounting system with services to develop, integrate and transition to a new Commercial Back-Office system. It is anticipated that the new system will maintain customer accounts, process customer payments, generate customer billing, interface with the Department’s SunPass.com website and SunPass® mobile application, and interface with the Department’s interoperable partners. The Department is interested in leveraging commercial off-the-shelf products for the new system.

Interested persons may attend the Industry Forum: 1) in-person by going to the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, 9300 Jeff Fuqua Blvd., Orlando 32827; or 2) virtually from a computer, tablet, or phone. All attendees, regardless of the platform they choose, will participate in the same live Industry Forum.

Those wishing to attend in person must register before 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021, to help ensure in-person attendees are accommodated safely in accordance with current social distancing guidelines.

The Industry Forum will begin at 1:30 p.m. with introductory remarks followed by a presentation by the Department to provide an overview of the project, including project scope and implementation information. A question-and-answer period will immediately follow the presentation.
