Ohio Turnpike's Toll Operations Director Worked Her Way To The Top

WKBN profiles Laurie D. Davis, the Ohio Turnpike’s new Director of Toll Operations. Davis, a 35-year turnpike employee, started as a midnight-shift toll collector and rose through the ranks until being appointed interim director in January. Her promotion was confirmed on April 1. The article notes that Davis “was a key part of the team that implemented EZ-Pass for Ohio Turnpike customers,” and “she was project manager for the 2019 ATPM Expansion Project.”

Georgia DOT Seeks Input On How It Communicates About Express Lanes Project

Reporter Newspapers notes, “The Georgia Department of Transportation is conducting a survey to get the public opinion about how the agency communicates its major projects, including the controversial toll lanes planned for Ga. 400 and I-285.” The online survey will continue through June 19.
