RITBA Converts Two More Pell Bridge Lanes To ORT
The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority announced this morning the opening of two additional open-road tolling lanes at the Newport Pell Bridge toll plaza. The redesignated lanes are the existing outer right lanes in each direction of travel. WKYC reports on safety measures the Ohio Turnpike implemented in order to permit the resumption of cash collection by its employees. Ferzan Ahmed, the turnpike commission’s chief executive, tells WKYC, “”Ohioans need to be proud of the frontline workers at the Ohio Turnpike. They have stepped up.
