Illinois Tollway Chief Says $4 Billion I-294 Project Will Yield Regional and Local Benefits

Trooper Suffers Serious Injuries While Investigating Indiana Toll Road Crash

WIBC reports, a state trooper who was investigating an Indiana Toll Road crash was seriously injured early yesterday when an SUV slammed into his patrol car, propelling it into another car and a median wall. The 30-year-old SUV driver, who refused medical treatment and voluntary intoxication tests, was arrested on preliminary charges including intoxicated driving, resisting law enforcement and reckless driving.
