Colorado DOT's Long-Term Planning Process Wins Recognition
“Engineering News-Record” Mountain States edition reports on “Your Transportation Plan” — the name Colorado DOT has given to its process of identifying priorities and long-term goals. According to the article, the department recently spent five months “engaging residents from across the state via telephone town halls, booths at community fairs and festivals, online surveys and 64 county meetings” as part of a new approach to creating a 10-year development blueprint. (“Your Transportation Plan” earned CDOT recognition as ENR’s “Colorado Owner of the Year.”)
