Position: Director, Business Development
Job Description: As Director, Business Development at Electronic Transaction Consultants you will drive all aspects of business development — helping propel our pipeline and revenue, increasing customer retention and success, and growing our position in the market. This senior position will manage a team of professionals to support the efficient delivery of winning proposals and effective marketing initiatives. Additionally, the position will assist with oversight and mentoring of the proposal manager, technical writers/editors and functional staff required to support the successful delivery of proposals. The candidate will recommend, coordinate, and assist with implementation strategies for continual improvement of proposal quality and effectiveness, and co-manage the process/organization, resources, tools, and budget. The candidate should have knowledge of the tolling and ITS industry, and ability to lead sales and business development initiatives.
The candidate should have an innate ability for competitive research and contact management, with the ability to build an execution-focused, performance-oriented bid management department, and a hunger to roll up their sleeves and move the needle for us. This position will be ETC’s ambassador in the industry, building and cultivating relationships with current and future customers, as well as promoting the ETC brand within our industry.
