NJ Governor Deprecates MTA Congestion Pricing Plan Again

New York Post reports, during a radio broadcast yesterday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) “ripped the MTA’s congestion pricing plan, warning New York City, as it recovers from the pandemic, shouldn’t want to give people ‘some other excuse to not be in Manhattan.’” Murphy was also critical of the pace of projects — the Port Authority Bus Terminal renovation and the construction of new Hudson River rail tunnels —  that he said would give New Jersey commuters “a real alternative to driving.” (TRN inserted a link.)
