AASHTO Journal reports, the directors of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials last week unanimously elected Wisconsin Secretary of Transportation Craig Thompson as the organization’s vice president. He replaces former Michigan DOT director Paul Ajegba, who retired last month. He had served as AASHTO vice president since October 2022. Thompson became WisDOT secretary in 2019. Prior to his appointment, he was the executive director of the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin.
