Community Impact Newspaper reports, a direct connector has opened that allows northbound Tomball Tollway (SH 249) traffic to enter the Grand Parkway (SH 99) in both directions. A similar connector for southbound Tomball drivers opened in July. The Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) is building a total of four new connectors to expedite traffic flow between the two toll roads. Its $92 million project got underway in March 2020.
