Transurban North America announced that its contribution of $25,000 to the creation of a community college financial aid program honors active and veteran members of the armed forces in Northern Virginia. The firm donated the funds to a foundation affiliated with NOVA, the Northern Virginia Community College, to help provide financial support for academically successful active duty and veteran students facing financial hardships. Transurban noted that NOVA is one of the nation’s largest community college systems, and serves more than 4,000 military and veteran students.
