Maryland Penalty Waiver Program Enters Final Month

WBAL reports, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) issued a reminder that the Customer Assistance Plan it adopted lin February will expire on November 30. Under the plan, motorists who received deferred 2020 video toll bills from MDTA can avoid civil penalties by paying off the balance of tolls they owe. MDTA will reinstate penalties, collection actions and vehicle registration suspensions held in abeyance since February as soon as the plan expires.
