WKRG reports, Florida DOT Secretary Kevin Thibault today directed Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise to extend the toll suspension in effect for the Garcon Point Bridge through April 9, 2021. (Tolls were originally lifted during September’s Hurricane Sally, but a continuous series of extensions has been ordered because of storm damage to the nearby Pensacola Bay Bridge, which remains closed to traffic.)
