A Brisa news release announced the company’s partnership with a major Portuguese insurer to provide “advanced telematics-based insurance products” to motorists who opt to use an app — Smart Drive — that monitors their driving and awards toll credits and premium discounts for safe behaviors. Brisa will use MoveBeyond™, the software platform developed by its A-to-Be subsidiary, for back-office program administration. The news release notes, “A-to-Be MoveBeyond™ has successfully administered tolling and road usage charge (RUC) backoffice solutions in four states across the United States.”
