Golden Gate Bridge Manager Steps Down after Nearly 20 Years at the Helm

Marin Independent Journal reports that Kary Witt, PE, a deputy general manager of the Golden Gate bridge district and “[t]he man who oversaw the day-to-day operations of the [bridge]” during a period marked by many changes, including the introduction of all-electronic tolling, is stepping down after almost two decades to take a position in the private sector.
