The Ontario Ministry of Transportation announced it has “opened the third round of permit applications and renewals for Canada’s first High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes. . . .” The HOT lanes are in operation on approximately ten miles of the Queen Elizabeth Way in the Greater Toronto Area.
