WWL reports, “The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway enhancement project, including new segmented shoulders and guardrails, is one of 50 projects listed by President Trump’s advisers for potential federal funding.” Causeway General Manager Carlton Dufrechou, besides being thrilled with the news, says that project’s estimated cost has been lowered to $103 million from $125 million.
