Northwest Herald provides an update on the Kane County (IL) Longmeadow Parkway project, which received environmental approval from the Federal Highway Administration in November. A county transportation division official tells the newspaper that construction of one phase of the road and toll bridge project “could start as early as this spring and be completed by the end of the year.”
