Cherokee Tribune & Ledger-News reports, “Construction on the Northwest Corridor on Interstate 575 is nearing the halfway point, and according Georgia’s Department of Transportation, everything is running according to schedule. Jill Goldberg, communications manager at GDOT, said the two-year anniversary of construction will be in October, and the project is slated for completion sometime in mid-2018.”
