Intent to Advertise a Request for Proposals for a
Toll Collection System, Operations and Maintenance Services
County of Kane, State of Illinois
In the coming weeks, the County of Kane in the State of Illinois will solicit Requests for Proposals (“RFP”) from toll vendors (system integrators and operations providers) that are interested in implementing, operating and maintaining a Toll Collection System for the new Longmeadow Parkway Toll Bridge. The scope of services consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, machinery, supplies, materials, safety equipment, services, and incidentals to provide a complete new All-Electronic (Cashless) Toll Collection System, Operations Services (including Manual Image Review) and Maintenance Services. Back Office Services will be procured through a separate Request for Proposals currently under development.
Interested vendors must register to be added to County’s vendor list by completing a vendor registration form available at: https://www.countyofkane.org/Documents/Purchasing/Vendor%20Registration%20Form.pdf and return it to the Purchasing Department by e-mail: purchasing@co.kane.il.us.
Only registered vendors can request the bid and RFP specifications. Once available, the County of Kane will post instructions for obtaining the RFP documents at: https://www.countyofkane.org/Pages/countybids.aspx.
A project informational meeting via Skype will be scheduled for vendors to learn more about Kane County’s specific project needs prior to publishing the RFP. Attendance is not mandatory to respond to the RFP. Vendors interested in participating in this informational Skype meeting shall notify Kane County by contacting:
