MTC's Proposal For A Study Of Future Bay Area Highway Tolling

The North Bay Business Journal looks at the MTC “transportation modeling blueprint” that has San Francisco Bay Area counties thinking about future tolling initiatives to reduce traffic congestion and pollution. If it receives the support of local agencies, MTC proposes to study “the efficacy and feasibility of different pricing strategies” as part of its preparation of a long-term regional development plan. Study findings would be available by 2022 or 2023.
