NJ Turnpike EV Charging Stations Will Multiply Thanks to Tesla Deal
NJ.com reports, New Jersey Turnpike Authority commissioners last week approved an agreement with Tesla, Inc., that provides for the installation of new vehicle charging units at eight service areas, six of which currently have no charging equipment. The deal will bring to 76 the total number of units on the turnpike. The article adds, “Tesla also committed to installing infrastructure to allow another provider to install at least 24 additional, non-Tesla chargers. . . .”
InsideEVs notes that all the new Tesla units will be the company’s latest V3 high-speed Superchargers.
