Treasury Finance and Compliance Manager: Transurban North America

In this role you will assist in the implementation, monitoring, management and reporting of Transurban’ s treasury activities in North America.

Key accountabilities:

Ensure funding adheres to policy requirements and covenants
Execute required funding in accordance with the Funding Plan
Funding is implemented effectively and efficiently
Perform internal treasury reporting
Coordinate US debt compliance review with relevant staff across the business
Review financial ratio calculations, manage compliance sign-offs and prepare memo for directors
Draft and circulate compliance certificates to lenders
Update the compliance matrix after new financings or refinancing (certificate and account requirements and distribution list)
Treasury activity adheres to policy and finance documentation
Monitor compliance with global treasury policies, procedures and process controls and support driving process improvement in daily tasks
Treasury activities are implemented effectively, efficiently and in a controlled manner
Treasury Policies and Procedures are reviewed and updated annually
FMRC is supported in achieving objectives
Treasury activity adheres to policy and finance documentation
Monitor compliance with global treasury policies, procedures and process controls and support driving process improvement in daily tasks
Treasury activities are implemented effectively, efficiently and in a controlled manner
Treasury Policies and Procedures are reviewed and updated annually
FMRC is supported in achieving objectives

Key selection criteria:

Minimum Bachelor Degree (graduate level preferred)
7+ year’s working knowledge responsible for raising capital for projects.
7+ years’ experience in corporate treasury, financial management, debt capital markets, project finance or equivalent
Proven experience in relationship management

Preferred:

Solid understanding of financial risks and how they are mitigated
Understanding of debt and equity markets, managing financing compliance and reporting obligations, and risks associated with financing activities
Strong technical, financial and financial modelling skills
Outstanding analytical skills and ability to think outside the square
Strong relationship management
Effective communication skills
