The role:

Apply today to join the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program (IBR) team as the tolling manager! In this leadership role, you will develop and oversee a tolling implementation plan that is in alignment with other Oregon and Washington tolling policy and projects.

IBR is a multimodal megaproject jointly led by the State of Oregon and the State of Washington to address regional highway problems facing the I-5 highway system crossing over the Columbia River between Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. We are working together with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to develop solutions for seismic resiliency, safety improvements, congestion reduction, reliable transit, active transportation and reliable movement of freight.

The person in this position will be a State of Oregon employee. This position is based in Portland, Oregon, and the work location will be at our shared office, when established, in Vancouver, Washington.

What we need:

Four years of management experience in a public or private organization, which included responsibility for each of the following:

a) Development of program rules and policies
b) Development of long- and short-range goals and plans
c) Program evaluation AND
d) Budget preparation.

OR

Three years of management experience in a public or private organization, which included responsibility for each of the following:

a) Development of program rules and policies
b) Development of long- and short-range goals and plans
c) Program evaluation AND
d) Budget preparation
AND 45-48 quarter hours (30-32 semester hours) of graduate level coursework in management.

Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s). Your license does not have to be issued in Oregon to be considered.
