WPMI News (Mobile) reports that the Baldwin County Commissioners have passed a resolution to place a referendum on the Nov. 8 ballot “asking voters to decide whether to install a toll authority to help fund the extension of the Beach Express to I-65. Right now, the Beach Express runs from Orange Beach to the I-10 corridor. However, construction is ready to go on a nearly 25 mile extension to I-65 which will cost up to 200 million dollars.”
