E-470 Authority Invites Applications For Executive Director Position
The E-470 Public Highway Authority has begun a search for a new executive director to replace Tim Stewart, who is making plans to retire. The position entails responsibility for overall management of all activities of the authority and involves close collaboration with legislators, other government agencies, local elected officials, tolling services partners, economic development entities, and the Colorado Department of Transportation. The executive director reports directly to the authority Board and “formulates or recommends all actions needing to be taken by the Board.” Required qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree and major course work in Business or Public Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a closely related field; a minimum of seven years of operational experience in managing and directing a complex organization; and a minimum of seven years of executive level leadership and management. Washington State DOT ‘s new website premiered on schedule on Sunday. WSDOT notes in a news release, “The redesigned website prioritizes travel information and a key feature is the new Travel Center. No matter how one travels, information about road and traffic, ferry, weather, tolling, train, airport, bicycle and walking is available all in one place. The Travel Center allows customers to view information as a list or on a map.” WSDOT also reorganized the site’s content to make it easier for users with differing information needs to zero in topics.
