South Florida Sun Sentinel reports, “Thousands of drivers crossing I-95 along Fort Lauderdale’s prominent Marina Mile should get ready for months of grinding traffic. . . . [FDOT] plans to close and replace the westbound bridge along State Road 84 as part of its latest installation of express lanes on I-95 from Miami-Dade to Broward County. The bridge work, which will affect 16,000 motorists a day, kicks off May 8 and is scheduled to run through the spring of 2022.
