SRTA Partners With BancPass To Give Peach Pass Holders A Cash Reload Option
BancPass announced that it has launched its Pay n Go electronic toll payment service in Georgia through a contract with the State Road and Tollway Authority. The agreement makes BancPass a licensed Peach Pass vendor, authorizes it to distribute Pay n Go starter kits, and enables Peach Pass account holders to reload their accounts through BancPass’s retailer partner network. The Pay n Go service is designed to provide “under-served and cash-based” customers with the opportunity to have a transponder account and enjoy the benefits of electronic tolling.
The Kansas Turnpike Authority’s August Newsletter suggests that K-TAG customers who prefer dealing in cash and paying tolls as-they-go consider BancPass service as an option. (KTA has partnered with BancPass since 2019.)

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission announced that crews will begin installing signage and pavement markings next week in preparation for next month’s opening of the new I-880 express lanes between Oakland and Milpitas.

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that the Pennsylvania Turnpike segment between the Beaver Valley and Cranberry interchanges will be closed for about four hours early Sunday morning so crews can remove the bridge structures for the new Freedom Road Bridge spanning the toll road at milepost 28 in Butler County. Replacing the overhead bridge is a PennDOT project funded by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
