Weekend Bridge Demolition Will Advance SoCal Express Lanes Project

Daily Bulletin  reports, the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority will close an entire segment of I-10 overnight on Saturday (June 6) for demolition of the Sultana Bridge. A new, wider bridge is planned as part of SBCTA’s $929 million freeway express lanes project.

Indiana Toll Road HQ Receives LEED Gold Certification Under New "V4" Guidelines

The Indiana Toll Road Concession Company announced that its new administration building in Elkhart has received LEED Gold Certification for environmentally conscious design from the US Green Building Council. According to ITRCC’s news release, Rachel Novick, a University of Notre Dame sustainability specialist and project consultant, describes the building as one of the greenest commercial structures in Northern Indiana. “Across its operations, ITRCC continues to innovate in key areas including renewable energy, waste reduction, and ecological restoration,” Novick adds.
