CTRMA Pauses In Its Search For A New CEO
The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority announced today that it is pausing the process of choosing a replacement for retiring executive director Mike Heiligenstein for two or three months. “With all of the uncertainty [surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic] right now, this temporary extension allows us to maintain agency stability and focus on several critical initiatives,” said authority board chair Bobby Jenkins. Heiligenstein has agreed to remain in his post until the board makes a selection. CTRMA notes that it has “received numerous highly qualified applicants” and plans “to give all candidates careful consideration.”
