NJ.com reports, a port authority police officer is hospitalized in critical condition after he was struck by a car while helping other officers clear the scene of an earlier crash that occurred on Route 139 in Jersey City just after 12:30 AM yesterday. Two Jersey City officers received minor injuries during the incident. Neither driver was arrested, but police are continuing to investigate the crashes.
