NHDOT's Spaulding Turnpike Project Advances toward Completion
Foster’s Daily Democrat reports, Friday’s opening of an Exit 6 ramp upgrade was “a significant milestone” in the advance of New Hampshire DOT’s ten-year, $230 million project to widen and improve the Spaulding Turnpike. The new ramp allows motorists to access both eastbound and westbound Route 4 from the turnpike. “It definitely improves the infrastructure and efficiency of the whole area,” Adam Chestnut, the project’s supervising engineer, told the newspaper. Chestnut added that contractors are on track to complete the project overall in October 2020.
