Transurban Starts 395 Express Tolling on Sunday
WTOP looks ahead to Sunday’s start of tolls and new HOV restrictions on Transurban’s 395 Express, an eight-mile extension of the company’s I-95 tolled express lanes. The article includes a users guide with detailed information about the facility’s rates and operations. WTOP notes, “In order to complete the switch from rush-hour-only HOV lanes to 24/7 toll lanes, the lanes will be closed from [tonight] until sometime Sunday to change signage and complete other finishing work. Construction will remain in the corridor to put up new noise walls and do other construction that was folded into the contract. . . .”
