CTV News reports, starting the evening of Friday, March 14, the Angus Macdonald and A. Murray MacKay Bridges will undergo separate weekend closures for the removal of tollbooths. Halifax Harbour Bridges (HHB), the operating authority, is undertaking the work pursuant to the Nova Scotia government’s decision to permanently end tolling by April 1. HHB believes most of the demolition can be completed over two weekends. However, it is urging motorists to be alert for work that will take place when the bridges are open to traffic.
