Inside INdiana Business reports, ITR Concession Company, operator of the Indiana Toll Road, yesterday announced the 2023 work schedule for a Northwest Indiana Bridge Rehabilitation project. The first phase, scheduled for March 6 to May 20, involves maintenance work on 18 bridges located between the Westpoint Toll Plaza and the Gary/Chicago International Airport, and guardrail improvements between exits 10 and 5. Subsequent phases will take place from May 20 to September 10, and from September 10 through November 10, with details to follow. Most work will occur during daylight hours, and some lane closures will be necessary. However, the company will keep all lanes open during the Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day holiday weekends.
