Seacoastonline.com reports, “The Maine Department of Environmental Protection is winding down its hearing process on plans by the Maine Turnpike Authority to build a new toll plaza in York.” The newspaper adds that a DEP hearing officer has refused to order MTA to update a 2014 modeling report that was behind its decision not to convert the existing York plaza to all-electronic tolling.
