Halifax Harbour Bridges (HHB) is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents to supply, deploy and maintain a modern in-lane / in-plaza Roadside Tolling System (RTS), including the software and relevant hardware, as appropriate. The system will be capable of capturing data from the lanes, processing it and sending it to other HHB systems.
The system will further enhance HHB’s ability to continue providing best in class roadside customer service, create efficiencies and improve business operations.
The Proponent will be responsible for providing project planning, design and testing, training and the installation of the Roadside Tolling System. The Proponent will also provide on-going post-implementation services and maintenance.
HHB would like to establish a contract with the successful Proponent to supply the Roadside Tolling System (specifics provided in the RFP) and include, but is not limited to, warranties for software, and for creating a comprehensive support contract, while also ensuring the deployed devices are configured according to industry standard. The successful Proponent will also be responsible for providing all applicable as-built documentation.

A pre-bid call will occur on Thursday August 1, 2024, at 12:00 PM ADT (GMT: -3 hours).
