UBP Bridge Will Waive Weekend E-ZPass Tolls To Mark Its Tenth Anniversary
WAVY reports, “South Norfolk Jordan Bridge (SNJB) is celebrating its 10th anniversary by offering customers a toll-free E-ZPass weekend. According to a press release, the toll-free weekend will take place Nov. 5th and 6th and extends to two-axle vehicles with valid E-ZPass accounts.” (The bridge, designed by Figg, and owned and operated by United Bridge Partners, spans the Elizabeth River in Chesapeake, Virginia. When it opened in October 2012, it replaced an obsolete lift bridge that the City of Chesapeake acquired in the 1970s from private owners.)
