USDOT Announces 24 INFRA Grant Awards

US Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg announced the proposed award of $905.25 million in INFRA grants to 24 projects (listed in the announcement) in 18 states. He noted that this year’s selection criteria included for the first time how proposals would address climate change, environmental justice and racial equity, and funding to address historic underinvestment in rural areas was a USDOT priority. Congress has 60 days from July 1 to review the proposed awards.
