E-470 Highway Authority Will Issue RFI On Friday

The E-470 Public Highway Authority in metro Denver announced it will issue a Request for Information (RFI) this Friday, December 13, to initiate the process of selecting an Image Processing Services (IPS) vendor. Qualified IPS vendors are invited to submit comments, questions, and demonstrations to inform a potential future Request for Proposals for services supporting E-470’s current and upcoming tolling projects.

The authority notes, “This RFI offers vendors a valuable opportunity to provide feedback and gain insights into this significant project. While participation in the RFI is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged for vendors planning to submit proposals.”

The RFI will be posted at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/e470-public-highway-authority.

Indra Will Deploy Tolling, ITS and Traffic Management Solutions On Georgia 400 Express Lanes

Indra announced that it will deploy a traffic management platform, communications and intelligent traffic systems, a dynamic operational back-office system, and an open road tolling solution as the technology partner of the SR 400 Peach Partners consortium. In August, Georgia DOT and the State Road and Tollway Authority selected the consortium as the apparent successful proposer for the $4.6 billion SR 400 Express Lanes P3 project in metro Atlanta.

According to today’s announcement, “Indra’s solution will be deployed in the cloud, and it will incorporate advanced technologies to make traffic predictions, enhance vehicle classification, improve efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs.” The Georgia project isn’t the Spanish company’s first US undertaking. Among other things, it provided the 66 Express ORT system in northern Virginia.
