Community Response to Jefferson Parkway Proposal Is Mixed
Arvada Press continues its series of articles on the Jefferson Parkway project with a look at the different responses to the proposed toll road within neighboring communities. Residents are reportedly eager to have a say in the planning process and have formed groups to advocate for changes in design or outright cancellation of the project.

Los Angeles Daily News reports, LA Metro will host a series of meetings next week to inform the public about its proposal to create an 18-mile bus rapid transit line in the northern San Fernando Valley served by zero-emission buses. According to the article, Metro’s plan calls for “fewer stops, more frequent service, dedicated bus lanes, high-quality stations with amenities, convenient fare payment and all-door boarding.”
