LA Metro Extends Time For Public Comment On I-405 Express Lanes Project
LA Metro announced a 30-day extension of the public comment period for the scoping of the proposed I-405 Sepulveda Pass ExpressLanes Project. The authority will now accept comment through October 1, 2021. Input can be submitted via an online comment form, email, telephone or regular mail. Later today (from 11:30 AM to to 1:30 PM Pacific), LA Metro will host a third and final virtual meeting on the scoping of the project.

He discussed the agency’s final $450 million annual payment to PennDOT in support of statewide transit operations, and how fulfillment of that obligation will affect the momentum of construction projects.

CultureMap reports that a new $120 million, 85,000-square-foot hospital is coming to the Dallas suburb of Celina. It’s further evidence of a development and population boom triggered by the planned extension of the North Texas Tollway Authority’s Dallas North Tollway. A city official told the council members who approved the hospital project, “It’s envisioned that the Dallas North Tollway corridor will have several hospitals . . . over time.”
