Massachusetts Turnpike Rapid Bridge Replacement Program Wraps Up This Weekend
The MetroWest Daily News reports, Massachusetts DOT contractors completed last weekend’s turnpike bridge replacements over Parkerville Road and Flanders Road — the penultimate phase of the Acceler-8 Project — early yesterday morning, ahead of schedule. The eight-weekend program of accelerated I-90 bridging is scheduled to conclude in the early hours of next Monday morning, August 16.
