The State Road & Tollway Authority (SRTA) has an exciting career opportunity currently available on our Engineering team for a Director of Engineering.
Under limited supervision of the Chief Engineer, the Director of Engineering (DE) oversees the Office of Engineering and is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and controlling transportation-engineering projects. The DE is also responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of toll systems for Express Lanes including new toll systems, major system upgrades, new technology, congestion pricing policy and rate setting, and coordination with the Georgia Department of Transportation on new Express Lanes or maintenance of existing Express Lanes. The DE is likewise responsible for overseeing the delivery of transit projects, including the design and construction of new transit facilities and major maintenance of transit facilities.
